Our hospitality project, The Lodges on Vashon, in the heart of Vashon Island, is open for business. Designed by S+H Works, the modern retreat destination is comprised of 16 contemporary freestanding lodges modularly-built to minimize waste and expedite the construction process.

Each lodge incorporates energy efficient heating and cooling mini-split systems, a gas fireplace, modern bathroom fixtures, an oversized soaking tub, and private patio with an outdoor shower intended to enjoy under the stars.

  

Other sustainable features include low impact foundations, additional insulation for increased thermal comfort, and an onsite storm water infiltration system to minimize disturbance of the natural environment.

Custom woodwork throughout the common areas adds warmth to the project’s modern feel and walking trails guide guests to the common areas – the Public House with a full kitchen and dining area, and the Pavilion an open-air space with seating around a large fireplace.
