The Modern Home Tour is returning to Seattle on Saturday, April 30th, opening the doors to some of the coolest homes in the Pacific Northwest, including our CLT House in Madison Park.

The 1,500 sf 3bd/2ba home was designed by atelierjones integrating Passive House construction techniques for year-round comfort and energy efficiency with high-performance windows and doors and increased insulation. The home’s strong modern lines are complemented by striking Shou Sugi Ban cladding, a traditional Japanese method of charring wood then sealing it with oil, making the material resistant to fire, rot and pests. Attendees will be delighted by the rooftop terrace with neighborhood views and cantilevered second story that creates a stunning yet functional ground-level carport.
